Living in Peace

THOUGHTFUL THINGS

If you are living and breathing, then you understand that this world that we live in is full of turmoil, strife and heaviness. And as children of God we must learn to live in peace with others, ourselves and with God.

The most important peace we can know is peace with God, our Creator and Savior. The Bible makes clear that when we have faith in Jesus, we are welcomed into God’s family (Ephesians 2:19), we become God’s children (John 1:12), and we have peace with God now and forever (Romans 5:1-2) There are three keys to cultivate a lifestyle of perfect peace: Fix your mind on Jesus. Meditation releases revelation and revelation releases manifestation. Make the Word of God the compass that guides your life. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. And above of all, pray. If we find the time in our daily lives to seek Gods face and pray then we can find the peace that we long to have in our lives.

Have you ever waked up knowing that no matter what the day brought, you were going to be fine? Peace is a wonderful feeling. We know it when we have it, and we all want more of it.

In John 14:27, Jesus says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Jesus doesn’t say we won’t have trouble; He says we don’t have to let ourselves be troubled. When we have God on our side, we can live securely. We can experience peace. Living in peace is possible in every aspect of our day, from the moment we wake up in the mornings, throughout the day as we work and attend school, and in the evenings when we return home. Wherever we are going, we can walk confidently and have peace. We weren’t designed to carry the weight of the world, but God can.

This unshakable peace comes from knowing God and trusting Him with every detail of our lives, like sheep in the care of a good shepherd. “He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth” (Micah 5:4).

No matter the things we go through, we have someone watching over us. And even though we can’t always see it, we are secure. God’s peace is available to all of us; we just have to humble ourselves and allow Him to run our daily lives. We weren’t designed to carry the weight of the world, but God can. May be peace be with you. Please visit The Family Church 9456 Hwy 146 N Liberty, TX (Hardin, TX) or facebook live @ tfchardin.
