Thoughtful Things

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

We are he church! And if we are the church then we must be puposed to be the church! With that there can be nothing that can come in and separate you from the love of God!

Paul would preach to the Roman church,one of the most wicked and corrupt places,that there is nothing,no one. That can seperate you!

Romans 8:35-39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

We must come here today with a clear understanding ,that if we are the church,this is for us! I know that we have too many,one is too many,saints of God that are perplexed,in a constant battle! They are unsure of who they are and what they are in the kingdom…

I want to try to impart some things about who and what the church is…this is a very short and limited list because the promises of God are unlimited !

Everything that we have,everything that we are as the church is connected to one single thing: Christ crucified!

Without this we are strangers,no less that outcast,a people with no eternal hope of heaven! But this was never Gods plan. When God created mankind ,he created them to be walk with him…it was from the separation that sin brings and the choice of man to fallow it that created a gentile nation .

The church is victorious

We are victorious because of calvery! Because of an empty tomb! Because of the prophetic fulfillment that took place in acts 2.

The enemy thought that he had victory in the garden,he thought he had victory at calvery-,he thought that he had victory over you,but God had a plan!

In genesis 50;20 Joseph was talking to his brothers and he told them you meant it for evil,throwing me in the pit,but God used it for good!

The church is empowered

Just days before His accention after calvery,Jesus told his deciples that they would receive power! Acts 1;8 says you will receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you and you shall be witnesses.

You’re going to be witnesses to Matt 28, where you shall have ALL POWER: your going to teach,to baptize ,to pray!

The church is worship

The church is purposed

Joseph was in the land of Egypt . Sold into that country as a slave by his brothers! He was lied upon by Poitiers wife,overlooked in the prison. He was living in a land so bad that it is still referenced as sin.

But Joseph would not forget his God! He didn’t care what had happened in life,he stayed with God!

He was the only one in the entire nation of Egypt that fallowed God!

We think that we have it bad… that we don’t have good seaport… the church or pastor doesn’t do enough….all Joseph had was people wanting to kill him,lie on him and throw him into jail!

But Joseph would be the ONE that would save two nations! He would save Egypt from the famine and he would save the nation of God in Goshen as he arose to the second powerful person in the kingdom next to the Pharo.

May I tell you today that the world is against you,,but you are not living for the world! And even if you are the only one standing for God,keep standing! In your home,school,family,or this world just be purposed as Joseph!

Joseph said that God had one purpose with him,to save much people!

We must be a church that comes for one reason , an acts 2;38 reason! We need to tell the world that they can have their fight,but we are going to trust in God!

We need to be a church of victory,of empowerment,of worship,and equally important of purpose!
