ANAHUAC— A long-time native who has made her mark in Anahuac recently made the tough decision to say her goodbyes to be closer to family.

On Friday, Aug. 22, 12 classmates from the graduating class of 1965 gathered for a luncheon to surprise their long-time classmate, Linda Tinnerman, as she ventures onto a new journey in life.

Tinnerman was a very active pillar in the community, serving in multiple organizations and participating in various community activities. However, she will now relocate to Dallas to be near her daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law.

“She will truly be missed by so many,” said long-time friend Annette Abernathy. “We wish her continued happiness and many new memories to be made with her daughter and family.”
