Martinez represents Barbers Hill at state CC meet

ROUND ROCK– A long cross-country season came to an end last Friday morning at the Class 5A State Cross Country Championships as Barbers Hill runner Ethan Martinez finished in the Top 50 of with a time of 16:26.7.
The winner in Class 5A was Colby Huntress of Austin Anderson. Dayton's Jaxon Asbill finished in second place and crossed just three seconds behind Huntress.
Martinez finished in 49th place, and just five seconds behind a Top 30 finish.
Congratulations to Martinez for turning in a fine performance and making it to state.
