Lady Eagles finish busy week with 4-1 record
The Barbers Hill Lady Eagles completed a hectic week by competing at the Peggy Whitley Tournament in Clear Creek ISD.
The Lady Eagles finished the week with a 4-1 record. Last Tuesday night, it was Deer Park coming to Mont Belvieu, and Barbers Hill used an 18-12 fourth quarter to get them a 51-42 victory over the Lady Deer.
Tournament play began on Thursday in League City, and the Lady Eagles edged Clear Falls 38-36.
Later on that day, Barbers Hill had their way with Magnolia West 70-21.
On Friday, the Lady Eagles had a tough matchup with Fort Bend Hightower and dropped a close 50-48 decision to the Lady Hurricanes. Barbers Hill then finished off tournament play later on Friday by taking care of Bay Area Christian 55-29.
The Lady Eagles will have another busy weekend as they play at the McDonald's Invitational.
