Lady Panthers improve to 5-3 on the season

HIGH ISLAND– The Anahuac Lady Panthers put together a very successful weekend as they picked up wins over Poolville and Sabine Pass at the High Island Tournament.
On Thursday, the Lady Panthers started things off with a 42-28 win over the Poolville Lady Monarchs.
Later on in the day, Anahuac faced off against Sabine Pass and knocked off the Lady Sharks 56-30.
On Friday, the Lady Panthers faced the Hawkins Lady Hawks from East Texas and fell 60-42.
Anahuac is now 5-3 on the season and will next play at the Deweyville Tournament this weekend.
The Lady Panthers will face Legacy Christian Academy and Johnson Bayou on Thursday to start tournament play.
