Lindsey Denice Blaylock, 1982-2021

Lindsey Denice Blaylock, 38, of Edinburg, Texas, went home to her Lord on Monday, May 3, 2021, at Edinburg Regional Hospital. Lindsey was born on August 30, 1982, in Galveston, Texas, to parents J. Warren Blaylock, II and Sondra Fregia Blaylock.

Lindsey was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Despite the challenges that came with her disability, she was extremely capable and independent. Lindsey had a vivacious fun-loving personality. She was a girly-girl who loved dressing up and wearing makeup. She liked to have her nails painted and had a very active social media life where she posted often and had many friends. She enjoyed decorating her room and listening to music, especially anything by Selena. To know Lindsey was to love Lindsey. She was always very positive and upbeat. She had the most beautiful crooked smile and infectious laugh. Lindsey adored her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Robert Lewis Fregia; and paternal grandparents Ray and Vada Childers. She leaves behind to cherish and honor her memory, mother Sondra Blaylock; father J.W. Blaylock; sister Tonya Hill and husband Benjamin; brothers J. Blaylock, Larry Blaylock, and Duane Dollison; maternal grandmother Floy Ann Fregia; beloved nieces and nephews Brody Hill, Lorelai Hill, Codie Marie Hill, Briana Blaylock, Jason Blaylock and Gabby Dollison. In addition, she leaves behind numerous other loving family and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-8 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in the chapel at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas 77575. A graveside service will take place at 10 AM the following day, Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.
