LMS Math and Science team

The Liberty Middle School math and science team has recently completed their 4th TMSCA event this school year. TMSCA is an organization formed by Texas math and science teachers to promote excellence in math and science through competition. (www.tmsca.org) Students were able to attend a practice meet, two individual qualifiers, and a regional meet in order to qualify for an upcoming state competition.

Thirty-five LMS students qualified and will take part in the TMSCA state competition in San Antonio, TX at UTSA on April 2, 2022. They are Denisse Acuna, Brylie Anderson, Tyler Butler, David Careago, Jordan Carpenter, Jovanni Castillo, Kayla Castillo, Katelyn Contreras, Kaylee Craig, Dylan Dagle, Kevin Del Rio, Dylan Ewing, Emma Frazier, Same Hale, Emily Hessler, Brannon Kelly, Jaenelle LaFleur, Endora Maynard, Landon McCann, Abby McMillen, Ancyna Nguyen, Angela Nguyen, Trinity Perrino, Andrea Romero, Alexis Roy, Analise Russell, Conner Schultz, Ella St. Clair, Shaun Stokes, Cheyenne Tinney, Jesus Varela, Tyler Walton, Alexander Zavala, Viviana Zavala, and Emma Zucha. The team is led by three coaches: Elisha Lemelle, Malissa Phillips, and Tabitha Pritchett.
