Read moreAs a challenging, yet successful, school year comes to a close, Dayton elementary schools hosted Fifth Grade Farewell Luncheons for their current fifth graders that will soon become middle schoolers. The luncheons celebrated these students’ growth and achievements throughout their elementary years. Students were encouraged to wear their “business casual” while enjoying an upscale, three-course meal catered by Dayton ISD’s new Bronco Cafe. The luncheons were held on each of the elementary campuses for Dayton ISD: Dr. E.R. Richter, Kimmie M. Brown, and Stephen F. Austin, with all 5th graders participating. It was a fun day celebrating the end of their elementary school years and building excitement as they transition into middle school. Dayton ISD appreciates the hard work of so many: the administrators, the teachers, and the Bronco Cafe for making this a special memory for the students.
