Anahuac alum makes educational strides

Contributed Photo. Anahuac alumnus Zsnwhe Russell Mattecucci recently obtained a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from West Texas A&M University, finishing with a 4.0 GPA.
Denise Russell, along with grandparents, Dympthea and Dick Walker, would like to announce the educational accomplishments of her daughter, Zsnwhe Russell Mattecucci.
Zsnwhe graduated from Anahuac High School in 2017. In 2021, she graduated from The University of Texas Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Psychology. In 2023, she graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies.
Recently, in May 2025, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from West Texas A&M University, finishing with a 4.0 GPA.
She is also extremely proud that in January 2023, Zsnwhe presented her with her first grandson, Azie, and the Walkers first great-grandson.
