Barbers Hill dominates 9-5A All-District Team
MONT BELVIEU– It was Barbers Hill and Port Arthur Memorial facing each other in the Class 5A DI Regional Finals, and it was to no one's surprise that they both dominated the 9-5A All-District Team.
Amante Martin of the Titans was named the district's MVP, while teammate Tank King was named the defensive MVP.
The Eagles' Trae Clark was named the Defensive Lineman of the Year, while Memorial's Brock King was named the Special Team MVP. Head Coach Brian King of the Titans was named the Coach of the Year.
Leading the way on the first team was Barbers Hill quarterback Brady Barrier. Eagles wide receiver Tripp Davis and offensive lineman Brayden Nelson were also named to the offense.
Named to the first-team defense for Barbers Hill were lineman Bryce Jackson and linebacker Andrew Burns.
Landing on the second-team defense for the Eagles are Breenen Beemer, Anthony Bonnet, Kaegan Morton and Max Summers. Voted on the second-team defense was Carson Hahn.
Head Coach Cody Simper leads Barbers Hill.
