Barrier slings four TDs in win over West Brook 32-21

BEAUMONT–  Brady Barrier passed for 309 yards and four touchdowns as the Barbers Hill Eagles beat Beaumont West Brook 32-21 on Friday night at Memorial Stadium.

The Eagles wrapped up second place in district and will host Houston Waltrip at home on Saturday afternoon. The Bruins needed a win over Barbers Hill to make the playoffs. Their season ends at 6-4.

One of Barrier's touchdown passes was an 85-yard score to Tripp Davis. The senior caught nine passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns.

Freshman Miles Spurlock rushed for a game-high 101 yards on 15 carries. Spurlock added two receptions for 30 yards and a score. Kaegan Morton had a 44-yard reception.

Kross Kilgo led the defense with a season high 18 tackles. Andrew Burns added an interception and Tate Hollingsworth had three TFLs.

As a team, the Eagles offense finished with 503 yards of total offense.
