County hosting upcoming job fair
WALLISVILLE— For those looking for work or for a career change, a big opportunity is just around the corner as Chambers County is hosting a countywide Job Fair soon.
Chambers County is having a countywide Job Fair on Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with plenty of opportunities for networking and strengthening applications.
“This job fair is about connecting our residents with meaningful employment opportunities while supporting both job seekers and employers,” said Director of Economic Development and Grant Management Samantha Humphrey. “We are proud to host an event that strengthens our local workforce and economy.”
The event provides attendees with a chance to meet face-to-face with potential employers from a variety of industries. Attendees can explore open positions, network, and learn more about local career opportunities across the county.
In addition to employer booths, the job fair will have free support services, such as resume and job application assistance, as well as opportunities for professional headshots.
Partner agencies dedicated to workforce development and career advancement will be on site to provide aid and resources.
The job fair is open to the public and free to attend. The event will be at White’s Park Community Building, 222 White Memorial Park Road, Wallisville.
