MONT BELVIEU– The Port Arthur Memorial Titans showed why they are state ranked on Friday night, as they took it to the Barbers Hill Eagles 34-6.

PAM jumped out to a big early lead and then used their defense the rest of the night in coasting to the win at Eagles Stadium.

Memorial jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead and then Barbers Hill put together a nice drive that would culminate in a London Schick 30-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 7-3. Jamal Jones had a nice run on the drive.

The Titans added to their lead with a couple of touchdown runs and would lead 21-3 late in the first quarter.

Brady Barrier found Tyler Gilley for a long pass completion that would lead to a Javi Castillo 30-yard field goal and the Eagles were within 21-6 in the second quarter.

All the scoring in the second half was by Memorial as they scored a touchdown in the third and fourth quarter for the 34-6 win.

Barbers Hill (4-3, 1-2), will travel to Beaumont on Friday night to face the United Timberwolves.
