The Anahuac Panthers competed last week in the Liberty Panther Classic, and they walked away with a big win over the host team, 47-32. They did lose a pair of tough contests to the Village Tech Viper Squids, yes, we said Viper Squids. Now the Panthers will look to make some headway in District 22-3A action. This week, the black and gold were on the road Tuesday to face the Hardin Hornets, and on Friday, they will get a break before facing Warren and Orangefield next week, as they look to grab a playoff spot in 2026.
