Liberty County State of Health Summit

DAYTON – The Liberty County State of Health Summit will be held Nov. 16 at the Dayton Community Center located at 801 S Cleveland St. in Dayton, TX.

This is a Free event for community members who serve as leaders, mentor, healthcare professionals, educators, and/or administrators.

The event is a collaborative effort among members of the Liberty County Family & Community Health Advisory Board, which provides guidance to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Liberty County Agent, Alexis Cordova.

The goal of the event is to inform and educate participants of the current state of the county, health trends, resources and facilitate dialogue to enhance connectivity and collaboration. The event will kick off at 9:30 am with Networking and Registration followed by a formal welcome at 10 am and State of County Report.

The Summit will feature several sessions related to Food Insecurity, Accessibility and Mental Health. Lunch will be provided, and the event will wrap up at 3 p.m.

The main event sponsors are Entergy, City of Dayton, Liberty County Long Term Recovery Committee, Liberty County, and Trinity River Food Bank. Registration is required.
