Outstanding Business Students Travel to Corpus Christi to Participate In the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference

Hardin ISD is proud to announce 32 students have qualified to attend the Business Professionals of America 2024 State Leadership Conference, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Feb. 28–March 2.

Chapter members were recognized at the Hardin ISD February board meeting. Under the leadership of their advisor, Mrs. Hebert, they will join over 4,000 other conference delegates from across the state to participate in state level business skill competitions with hopes of advancing to the national level. BPA includes schools from all sizes and types.

These schools range from 1A – 6A and include traditional middle and high schools and those specializing in career and technical education.

Business Professionals of America is a national organization for middle school, high school, and college students preparing for careers in business and office occupations. This is a great opportunity for students to gain practical experience and begin networking for possible career paths while promoting leadership, citizenship, and academic and technological skills.

Also, congratulations to Hardin Middle School state qualifiers: Kennedy Harwell - Word Processing, Hallie Hobson - Digital Citizenship, Nathan Colwell, Jose Montoya, and Memphis Wetterman - Website Design Team, and James Whitfield and Kylie Neal - Presentation Management Team.
