Jim Sterling, Betty Williamson and Sandra Sterling all came out and enjoyed chili and good company.

Dayton Noon Lions Club held their annual chili supper on a cold, wet and rainy night last Thursday, Feb. 2 in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church Dayton.

The club offered a steaming hot bowl of chili and rice, drink and dessert for $10.

“We had a smidge over 100,” said Mike George, the club’s president. “ It was what you want if you’re serving chili, but the weather might have been too nasty for some of our regulars, but at least it wasn’t 80 degrees.”

The club’s next offering will be their annual pancake supper in late April.
