Lone Star Guardians will host a chili and gumbo cook off at the Liberty Gazebo, 1829 Sam Houston Street in Liberty Saturday, Jan. 18, starting at 7 a.m. Cook for cash prizes or bragging rights, or just come get the best gumbo or chili the cooks can whip up. Either way you can enjoy the gathering and trash talking while you support the neglected and abused children in your county.
