Hardin’s Javion Watley heads for the races earlier this year in a district contest against Coldspring. The Hornet standout has had quite the season, as he contributed to an historic run by the blue and gold.

Hardin Junior High School seventh-graders Brooke Beltran (left) and Angi Diaz wrote a song about running back Javion Watley, and the song became a quick hit amongst the Hornet faithful.
