DAYTON — If you have anyone on your holiday list needing lawn and garden equipment, look no further than Western Auto in Dayton.

This handy hometown store has been serving the local community for 51 years and counting.

It all started in 1972 when Lloyd Martin decided to retire from Shell Enterprises after 25 years and become a business owner.

Martin put every penny from his retirement into the business with his wife Dorothy and has continuously been successful.

In 2015, Martin medically retired, and his daughter Sheri Ripkowski continued his work alongside her son, Cory.

“We have kept this business running on the same principles as my parents had and have been successful since,” said Ripkowski.

Western Auto continues to serve the community and plans to continue those efforts for many years.

The store carries home appliances, ride-on mowers, outdoor power products, and lawn care equipment.

They also have many brands available, such as Whirlpool, Husqvarna, Estate and more.

You can get exceptional service from the experts that match your needs, wants and budget.

They also offer professional installments and extended warranties if available.

Why not shop smart and local? You can visit them today at 106 W Clayton St. in Dayton, or you can give them a call at 936-258-3181.
