Cleveland to consider interim appointment

The Cleveland City Council has announced a Special Called Meeting for Friday, Jan. 7, at 2 pm in order to consider the possible appointment of an Interim City Manager. The position became open last month when outgoing City Manager Bobby Pennington announced his departure for a job in city management elsewhere.

Council will consider the possible appointment, compensation, and duties during an executive session before deciding whether or not to make any official decision in the open portion of the meeting.
