Campaign Announcement

    Craig McNair

Craig McNair has announced his candidacy for Liberty County Commissioner, Precinct 4 in the upcoming election on March 1. As a Conservative Republican, a lifelong resident of Liberty County, a farmer, and a small businessman, McNair is happy to have the opportunity to serve the people of Precinct 4 and improve the condition of the roads in our community.

McNair understands we cannot keep doing things the same way and expect a better outcome. Poor fiscal stewardship and a lack of long-term planning have led to the decline of our roads, bridges, and infrastructure. In many instances, the roads and bridges are almost impassable for oncoming vehicles, especially school buses and large trucks. Making our community safer, protecting taxpayers, and defending our conservative family values will be his focus.

McNair has spent 30 years as a professional pilot, and as a former Liberty County Judge, he knows how to get things done on the Commissioners Court. McNair also Board Trustee and is a Dayton Noon Lions Club member, Sons of the Republic of Texas, and the National Rifle Association. McNair and his wife Lisa are members of the First United Methodist Church of Dayton. They are extremely proud of their three daughters, two of whom are educators in Dayton and one who works with a pro-life non-profit organization. The McNair’s have three grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them and watching them grow.

“I would appreciate your vote so that together we can do our best for Precinct 4,” said McNair.
