Office of Elections to host Q&A

LIBERTY – The Liberty County Office of Elections will host a special question and answer session at the Jack Hartel Building on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 5:30 pm.

The public is invited to come out and ask any questions about the upcoming Tuesday, Nov. 8, General Election.

“We feel in the current environment that the community has questions about Liberty County elections, and we would like to allow them to ask questions,” said Elections Administrator Klint Bush.

Bush hopes the public will participate in this event and allow his offi ce to put voters at ease as they head back to the polls this year.

“ We hope this will add to the faith and credibility of your elections department and help increase transparency before the November election,” said Bush.

The Vindicator will be part of a panel of local media outlets posing questions about election issues like security, accountability and other issues.

For those who cannot attend, the Liberty ISD Video Department will be on hand to film the event and offer a chance to view it online.

The county chairpersons of both major political parties have also been invited to participate in the event.
