During Carolyn’s time teaching she also turned her hobby into a second career and for several years she owned and operated a crafts store, “The Busy B Stitchery.” Carolyn was also a wonderful photographer. She would drive 45 minutes to help care for her now grandchildren every day when they were younger. She was constantly giving her time to care for others without ever asking anything for herself. Carolyn was a sweet, kind and gentle lady who will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas Bass; her parents; and a sister, Linda Miller Lassiter.
