    George Christopher Kopecky, 1971-2019

George Christopher Kopecky, 48, a very loving father, son and husband, joined the angels in heaven on Wednesday, June 19. He was born to the parents Robert and Linda Kopecky on June 21, 1971, in Pasadena, Texas. On Sept. 18, 1999 he married his loving wife, Sherry Kopecky, and together they raised three beautiful children, Joseph, 12, Ayden, 6, and Noah, 5. George loved his family and had an infectious smile, and a compassionate heart.

George left behind many loving family members. These include Uncle Joe (Rosalinda, Paul and ((Donna)), Richard (Janice) Kopecky. Also, Uncle Eddie (Jane) and Raymond (Barbara) Seils; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Moore; aunts, Jeannie (Mike) Emmons-Corso, Rosie and Willemina Kopecky; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

George was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gene; and brother, Shawn Curtis Kopecky.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shane Willingham, Bill Thomas, Adam Jones, Dirk Caple, Ulrike Harvey, John (Michelle) Galbraith, Javier (Lisa) Castillo, the Sheet Metal Local Union 54 and to Farmers.

In closing, there are no goodbyes for us who loved him. He will always remain in our hearts forever.

A celebration of George’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street in Dayton, with his uncle Joe Kopecky, officiating.
