Marvin James Whitmire, 81, of Houston, Texas was born January 4, 1940 in Sour Lake, Texas to parents, Herman Whitmire and Ethel (Williams) Whitmire, and passed away September 24, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward Whitmire, J.D. Whitmire, and William Whitmire; and sister, Norma Rubin.
He is survived by his son, Terry Whitmire; grandsons, Brody Whitmire, Blake Whitmire, and Ty Whitmire; and sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bill Keller.
