    Shellena E. “Shelly” Smith Green, 1968-2019

Shellena E. (Shelly) Smith Green, age 51, of Liberty passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was surrounded by her loving family. Shelly was born on Oct. 30, 1968 in Conroe to parents Jerry Ray Smith and Glenda Collins Smith.

Shelly graduated from Liberty High School in 1987. She was a very special young lady. She enlisted in the United States Navy in 1989 where she met and married Raymond Wayne Hall Jr. of Thrasher, Mississippi at Kings Bay Naval Base. She was blessed with two handsome sons Tyler Ray and Taylor Ryan Hall of Mississippi. Later she married Brian Green and had two step-daughters Gabriella and Daniella Green. In 2015, she moved to Liberty to live with her mom, Glenda.

Shelly was a member of South Liberty United Church. She loved riding horses when she was young. She also loved Dr. Pepper and Taco Bell.

She was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Collins (Willis, TX) and Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Smith (Beaumont, TX). She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother; sons; step-daughters; sister, Gayla Smith Boggs and husband Richard; brother, Carroll Ray Smith Sr. and wife Donna; nephews, C.J. Smith Jr, Adam Ryan Smith and wife Randi, Kristopher Bryan Scott and wife Marrisa; nieces, Misty Boggs Handy and husband Gregory III, Amber Smith Morgan and husband Leo; and Magen Boggs Quave. In addition, she leaves behind numerous other loving family members and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Hall, Taylor Hall, Kristopher Scott, C.J. Smith, Adam Smith, Gregory Handy Jr. and Leo Morgan.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the chapel at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, TX 77575. Funeral Services will begin at 12 p.m. at Allison Funeral Service with Vicky Huff and William Collins officiating.
