Mr. and Miss Dayton High School

One of the highest honors to be given any year to a DHS senior is to be selected as Mr. or Miss DHS by the faculty and staff at Dayton High School.

Allie Davis, senior at Dayton High School, was selected as Miss DHS for the Class of 2021. Allie is the Salutatorian of her class. While at Dayton High School, she has taken Pre-AP, AP, and dual credit classes. She has been a member of the Dayton Lady Broncos Varsity Basketball Team and was selected as First Team All-District along with Academic All-District. She is a member of NHS, SNHS, NEHS, NTHS, NSSHS, Student Council, HOSA, and was a mentor as part of the PALS program. Allie is the daughter of Rob and Suzanne Davis and plans to attend Texas A&M University in the fall.

Landon Wood, senior at Dayton High School, was selected as Mr. DHS for the Class of 2021. While at Dayton High School, Landon has taken Pre-AP and dual credit classes. He has been a member of the Dayton Broncos Varsity Football Team and the Dayton Broncos Varsity Baseball Team. He is a member of NHS, SNHS, and NEHS. He was a mentor as part of the PALS program and was a member of the AV Production Team as a news anchor. He is an active member of the First United Methodist Church Dayton Youth Group. Landon is the son of Quinn and Kim Wood and plans to attend the University of Houston in the fall.

Both of these students represent well the Dayton Bronco Pride with spirit and resiliency as associated with being a Dayton Bronco. Congratulations, Landon and Alllie.
