LIBERTY

Hamshire-Fannett scored four runs in the ninth inning to knock off Liberty 5-1 on Friday night at City Park Field. The game was scoreless heading into the sixth inning, when both teams would each score a run to move the game into extra innings. Zander Davila pitched into the sixth inning and finished with five strikeouts. Gage Pavliska pitched three innings of relief and added two strikeouts. Grady Silva had two hits at the plate.

DAYTON

The Dayton Broncos fell at Porter on Friday night 5-3 in a district contest. Dayton led 3-0 heading into the fifth inning when the Spartans scored a run in the bottom half of the inning and then took the lead for good with four runs in the sixth inning. Andrew Soliz and Grant Odom each had a hit, and an RBI and Tyler Threadgill had the other hit for the Broncos. Carson Abshire pitched into the fifth inning and had seven strikeouts and Sebastian Avila finished things up on the mound and added three strikeouts.

HARDIN

The Hardin Hornets fell to 5-4 in district play with a 7-3 loss at Kirbyville on Friday night. The Wildcats scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break open a close game. Lleyton Berry pitched four innings and Hunter Whitehead pitched the final two innings. Berry and Whitehead each finished with two strikeouts each. Whitehead and Michael Moody each had a hit and an RBI at the plate.

CLEVELAND

The Woodlands Highlanders scored five runs in the second inning to knock off Cleveland 6-0 on Friday night at home. Xavier Woods and Ivan Gonzalez combined for eight strikeouts on the mound for the Indians. Woods and Chris Esqueda each had a hit for Cleveland.
