Chandler and Slack take TSWA Top Awards in Class 4A

The Texas Sports Writers Association recently announced their 2022 All-State Softball Teams.
The Liberty Lady Panthers grabbed the two biggest awards as Head Coach Karen Slack was named the Class 4A Coach of the Year. Joining Slack was pitcher Kamdyn Chandler who was named the Class 4A Player of the Year.
Sam Houston State University bound Kylie Bishop was named first-team at her third base position.
First baseman Reagan Williamson, outfielder Bailee Slack, and shortstop Kendall Daniel were named to the second team.
Katy Sanders of Hamshire-Fannett was also named to the second team.
Making the third team from Liberty was catcher Hollie Thomas, second baseman Reese Evans, and outfielder Alex Wiley.
