The Liberty Lady Panthers were all business Friday night, walking off the field with a 7-0 win in their Regional Semi-final match-up with Taylor. Kamdyn Chandler did her thing on the mound, and the offense racked up 11 hits in a complete team effort at Waller High School.

Senior Kylie Bishop drove in four runs with a triple and double to lead the offense.

Chandler allowed only four hits and did not walk a Lady Ducks hitter while striking out 6.

Liberty threatened in each of the first two innings but could not do any damage until the third.

Bailee Slack and Reese Evans each started the third off with singles. Then Hollie Thomas reached on an error by the Taylor third baseman to load the bases with nobody out.

Bishop that with a hard-hit grounder to the right of the second baseman that was too hot to handle and that would clear the bases and Bishop was standing at third with a triple, and the Lady Panthers led 3-0.

Chandler then hit a grounder to second base, which plated Bishop, and the score was 4-0.

Liberty added two more in the fourth.

Maci Beam doubled but was called out for runner interference on a ball hit to shortstop by Slack. Evans followed with a walk, and both runners then pulled off a double steal.

Thomas then hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Slack, and the Lady Panthers led 5-0.

Bishop then followed with a double to bring home Evans, and the score was 6-0.

Liberty added one more insurance run in the sixth as Beam reached on a single. Two hitters later, Thomas hit another sacrifice fly to score Beam, and the Lady Panthers had a 7-0 advantage.

Taylor did pick up a couple of hits in the seventh but could not put any runs across the scoreboard, and Liberty had the 7-0 victory.

Slack, Beam, and Bishop all had two hits apiece, and Thomas finished with two RBIs.
