Tarkington's Johnson heading to Wharton Junior College

TARKINGTON — Senior Kalee Johnson was one of the mainstays for Lady Horns Head Coach Glenn Kennedy for the last couple of years.

Johnson has been a big part of the Tarkington volleyball squad over the last four years, and those efforts are paying off.

Last Wednesday afternoon, with family, friends and teammates by her side, Johnson signed her national letter of intent to play college volleyball at Wharton Junior College.

Finishing up her career as a Lady Horn by being named to the all-district first-team, Johnson will stay close to home, giving her family and friends a chance to watch her play at Wharton.
