In one of our staff meetings, Lance was reporting about someone he was trying to contact by email to schedule them for an event at our church. I asked, “Why don’t you just call the person?”
Lance looked at me and said, “Bro. Danny, trying to get that guy by phone is like trying to catch mercury!”
When I finally stopped laughing, I said, “That was a good one, Lance!” “Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time!” (Proverbs 15:23)
