FOLLOW THE LEADER

One of our favorite games to play as a young boy was “Follow the Leader.” We ran, jumped, swung on vines, and climbed our way through the northeast Texas forests.

You name it, and we tried it. The leader’s job was to make it as challenging and difficult as possible. Those following had the task of staying up or being left behind.

I still play follow the leader. However, “He leads me beside the still waters; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake; and even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for He is with me, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23)
