GRADUATION

He will be 50 years old his next birthday, but I remember like it was yesterday. My oldest son was about to finish his kindergarten year. As we traveled, I asked him, “Well Jeff, are you looking forward to the first grade?”

He was facing the vehicle door at the time, watching the world go by. With no hesitation he turned, looked straight at me, and said rather loudly, “No sir. I’m looking forward to when I graduate!”

Jesus said, “I go and prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:2-3) I cannot speak for you but that is a “graduation” I am looking forward to.
