I asked a dear friend named Lutie, who grew up during the Great Depression, what was her most memorable Christmas.
Without hesitation she said, “One year I got an apple and a dime for Christmas. That was all Daddy could afford and I was glad to get it.”
We have much to be thankful for. “The Lord has done great things for us. We are glad.” (Psalm 126:3)
