SOUND THE ALARM

Shirley grew up across from the local volunteer fire department in the small north Texas town of Holiday. Her parents were very involved in the community. If a fire occurred, the phone rang at Shirley’s home. Her mother would send her and her sister across the street to sound the fire alarm and wait to give the volunteers the address of the emergency.

“If the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible.” (Ezekiel 33:6) Sound the alarm.
