Spring is Here

Spring is known for rejuvenation and rebirth causing plants and animals alike to “SPRING, SPRING, SPRING! I love to smell the fresh breeze through my open window.

I love the freshness of spring each year. I walk taller, feel healthier, enjoy more color in my face and a boost in my energy. Everything about spring breathes of life and newness. I love seeing green fields with baby calves reaching up for a drink from Mama. God’s creations are so amazing that each new day brings exciting things! The Bible say

“As long as the earth exists, seedtime and harvest, cold and hot, summer and autumn, day and night will not cease.” Genesis 8:22

Sometimes in order to come into a new season and spring forward in faith, we have to let go of the old season. Isaiah 43:18 NIV says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” One of the many lessons life teaches us is to let go. We can’t hang on to past hurts, past struggles, and past relationships. And, sometimes this means we have to give ourselves time to grieve in order to move forward. We may have to let ourselves feel the loss, be sad for a little while, and talk to someone who cares. After we’ve grieved, we can pick ourselves up and start looking ahead once again. As spring starts to surface and the trees begin to bloom, we can see God’s reminder to align our hearts to the new thing He’s doing.

Sing to God a brand-new song, sing his praises all over the world! Let the sea and its fish give a round of applause, with all the far-flung islands joining in. Let the desert and its camps raise a tune, calling the Kedar nomads to join in. Let the villagers in Sela round up a choir and perform from the tops of the mountains. Make God’s glory resound; echo his praises from coast to coast.” Isaiah 42:10 (MSG)

As Spring begins to bloom and new life begins remember that the same God who created all the living things cares about you too!

He knows the number of hairs on your head, He knows the number of grains of sand, He sees the sparrow when it falls and He cares about you.

There is an old song that says”We have a Heavenly Father above with eyes full of mercy and heart filled with love. He really cares when your head is bowed low, consider the lilies and then you will know”.
