Celebrating seniors on the diamond

The Anahuac Panthers seniors catch the honorary opening pitch from their parents before taking the field against Orangefield last week.
Anahuac Lady Panthers Gabby Palacios, Cyann Cook, Kaitlyn McDaniels, Jayda Granger and Keeley Butler were honored before their final home game.
ANAHUAC— Last week, seniors for both the Anahuac Panthers and Lady Panthers played their final home games and they were honored for their contributions on the diamond.
The Lady Panthers will be heading to the postseason, so the seniors are not finished just yet.
The Panthers were in playoff contention heading into the final game of the regular season. Unfortunately, that was after press time and you will have to see next week’s edition of The Progress to see the outcome.
