EC ladies on the pitch

    East Chambers players Emmalee Ortego and Madison Winzer participated in the SETCA All-Star Soccer Game at Hawk Stadium.

SOUR LAKE— Tied 2-2, the East Team scored on a breakaway goal with three minutes remaining to give them a 3-2 win over West at the SETCA All-Star Girls Soccer game played at Hawk Stadium.

The East Chambers Lady Buccaneers had a pair of players participating in the game as seniors. Madison Winzer and Emmalee Ortego both made key contributions to the West.

Audrey Harlien of Crosby scored the game's first goal in the 9th minute, and the West led 1-0.

Chloe Post of Vidor gave the East a 2-1 advantage with a goal in the 12th minute. Ortego made a great deflection on an East shot moments later to save another goal.

The West used a Citlaly Vences goal in the 21st minute to knot things up at 2-2. The East then won the game some eight minutes later.
