Traffic woes continue

Early-morning westbound traffic is backed up on Interstate 10 on Monday, Jan. 5, as first responders work to clear a minor accident west of the Trinity River Bridge. Repairs are underway in both directions and continue to plague drivers in the area, as they have forced the closure of several lanes.
The Texas Department of Transportation has closed several on-ramps along the Interstate 10 feeder in hopes of alleviating traffic issues while repairs are made to the Trinity and Old & Lost River bridges. The roadwork has caused significant frustration for drivers and led to several accidents along the interstate.
