According to the Independent Market Monitor, ERCOT allowed emergency pricing to continue for almost a day and a half longer than necessary, resulting in $3.2 billion in overbilled charges. Correcting these billing mistakes is a critical step in reforming the system.

It took Mr. Edison over two years and more than one thousand tries to find the perfect metal that could carry the current of electricity without burning up. The Lord only knows what you may be going through as you read this, but do not lose heart. Do not quit. We need you. I need you. Wheeler of Cleveland named District’s Defensive Player of the Year

The Cleveland Indians enjoyed a fine year under Head Coach Trey McDowell in making the playoffs. When the 20-5A All-District Teams came out, the Indians were well represented. Leading the way was AJ Wheeler, who was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Cleveland then took three of the spots on the first-team list with Devonte Robertson, Tyler Spencer, and Jonathan Aguilar. Trevion Lebum of the Indians finished on the Academic All-District Team.

Lady Broncos represent on 20-5A All-District Team, Spencer from Cleveland named Newcomer of the Year

The Dayton Lady Broncos and Head Coach Suzanne Davis landed five players on the 20-5A All-District Team. Leading the way on the first team is senior point guard Allie Davis. Three players found their way on the second team and they are Shakira Keener, Jerrica Keener, and Amber Kelly. On the honorable mention team is Loryn Mallet. Making the Academic Team were Davis, Kelly, Haley Sutch, and Samantha Sanchez.

Payton, Bouff ord lead way for Dayton on 20-5A Team

Jack Keller of Kingwood Park was named the MVP of District 20-5A as announced by the coaches. The Dayton Broncos had Brice Payton and Tanner Boufford listed on the second-team. The Broncos then had Houston Gault, Myles Land, and Gilbert Sanchez picked to the Honorable Mention Team. Making the Academic All-District Team from Dayton are Payton, Boufford, and Jayden Jiminez. The Broncos are coached by Brian Courtney.
