The Cleveland Indians played close with New Caney for four innings and trailed only by a run until the Eagles struck for five runs in the fifth and six runs in the sixth to break open a close game to take care of Cleveland in six innings 12-0 on Friday afternoon at the Indians field. New Caney only had three hits, but it was 12 Indian walks that proved to be the difference. Cleveland picked up as many hits as the Eagles with three. Oved Espinoza had two of those and a double, while Jayce McNorton had the other Indians hit. Xavier Woods pitched into the fifth inning for the Indians and struck out four.
