Liberty drops game one to Lake Belton 3-2 in eight innings

Navasota- The Liberty Lady Panthers have been almost perfect during the post-season so far. On Thursday night at Navasota High School, in game one of their Class 4A Regional Finals match-up with Lake Belton, Liberty committed three errors in an eight-inning 3-2 loss to the Lady Broncos. Tied at 2-apiece heading to the eighth inning, Zakayia Fredrick doubled for Lake Belton to lead things off and then scored on an error to give the Lady Broncos a 3-2 lead.
