In the historic Liberty County Courthouse’s 75th District Courtroom, Jennifer Bergman was recently sworn in as the new Liberty County District Attorney. Bergman made history by becoming the first female in Liberty County’s history to hold the District Attorney’s position.

The Liberty County Courthouse was abuzz this past Monday, Jan. 4, as both the newly elected and re-elected county officials were sworn in for their official oath of office. The ceremony began with a welcome from Liberty County Judge Jay Knight and the Invocation from Clint Sylvester, Pastor of Grace Church in Liberty.
