LIBERTY — SETX Outlaws Baseball and Softball Organization in Liberty recognized four 2024 graduates who signed their Letters of Intent to play collegiate-level baseball on Wednesday, May 15.
Three upcoming graduates from Dayton High School were recognized: Grant Odom, who will be attending John Melvin University; Justin Hector, who is headed for Blinn College; and Tyler Threadgill, who will be heading to Evangel College to compete at the collegiate level.

HUNTSVILLE — Hollie Thomas and Bayleigh Taylor hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning, leading the Liberty Panthers to the Class 4A Region III Finals for the fourth straight year.
After handling things in game one on Friday night in Huntsville, the Lady Panthers took the 8-3 win over the Salado Lady Eagles to sweep the series 2-0.
